The Indiana Pavilion’s goal is to promote Indiana companies and provide a competitive advantage. The pavilion, a collaboration between the ISDA and Indiana Economic Development Corp., debuted last year and is expanding this year.
“The Indiana Pavilion will highlight the amazing work Hoosier entrepreneurs are doing in the industry and showcase Indiana as a leader in agricultural innovation,” David Watkins, Senior Vice President of Entrepreneurship and Small Business, said in a news release.
The Sweets and Snacks Expo is the largest U.S. trade show devoted to candy and snacks with over 950 exhibitors and 16,000 attendees. This year’s event is happening May 13-15 at the Indiana Convention Center.
The Expo first came to Indianapolis in 2021, bringing in 8,000 attendees for the first major trade show following the pandemic. It was also the first time the event was held outside of Chicago since its inception.
The National Confectioners Association later announced that the event would return to Indy for two years starting in 2024, followed by one year in Las Vegas, and continue that rotation until 2032.
Companies interested in more information about exhibiting in the Indiana pavilion are encouraged to contact Drew Sherman via email.
Suppliers to confectionery and snack manufacturers for products such as ingredients, flavors, packaging, machinery, business services, etc. are encouraged to register for the Supplier Showcase on May 12 – 13, 2025, rather than the Indiana Pavilion.
