Spot Freight Planning to Hire Hundreds

Indianapolis-based logistics company Spot Freight is planning to hire 200 sales representatives for its downtown Indianapolis headquarters by the end of next year. Spot says the positions will focus on building business with trucking companies and manufacturers in the food, beverage, and automotive sectors.
Spot now fills two floors of the former Jillian’s Entertainment building on South Meridian Street after previous expansion announcements in 2017 and 2019.
The company says filling 200 sales reps would double the size of the sales team.
“Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, Spot has been fortunate to onboard over 85 new employees as logistics companies have played an essential role in moving vital goods across the country,” said Andrew Elsener, co-founder of Spot.
Elsener also says Spot’s sister company, Red Technologies, is also planning to hire 50 developers to its team next year. Learn more about the jobs, and how to apply, by clicking here.
