Marathon Labels, a family-owned label manufacturing company, is celebrating its move into a larger facility in Fort Wayne.
The company spent around $1 million on the new, 10,000-square-foot building and says the space will allow it to increase capacity, expand product offerings and enhance testing capabilities.
Marathon Labels currently has 10 employees and plans to double its workforce as part of its long-term strategy, which also includes industry advancements and increasing collaboration between Marathon’s team and its customers.
Founder and CEO John Hurley, who started the company in 2001, is passing on leadership responsibilities to his two daughters, Kelci and Lindsey.
Marathon Labels was founded in 2001 and specializes in durable UL and high-temperature warning labels, as well as print products such as instruction sheets and forms, according to the company’s website.
