Jobs Announcement Coming in Evansville

Indiana Secretary of Commerce Victor Smith will take part in the announcement.

Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke will be joined Thursday by Indiana Secretary of Commerce Victor Smith and Chris Kinnett, president of the Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville for an economic development announcement. The city says a local business will detail its expansion and job creation plans.

The announcement will be made at 3:00 p.m. CT at Innovation Pointe on Main Street in Evansville. 

In February, eLuxurySupply.com announced it was investing $5 million to renovate its headquarters and bring 100 jobs to Evansville. Later that month, DSM Engineering Plastics America announced it was expanding its operations in Evansville, creating up to 25 jobs by the end of the year.
