Once a product in the Bluebridge Digital family, the company became Emplify after Bluebridge Churches and Bluebridge Tourism were sold for $8 million.
During an interview with Inside INdiana Business, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Santiago Jaramillo said the company has experienced triple-digit annual sales growth as it taps into the needs of an evolving workforce. The company is touting 250 percent year-over-year sales growth, which Jaramillo says is validation for the young company’s efforts. "As more and more people value engagement and value culture in which job they select, it really puts a focus for leaders to say ‘how do I create a better, engaged culture? How do I create a better working environment for my people?’" he said. "Instead of guessing with gut and instincts, how about taking validated, sort of confident guesses based on data-driven insights, and that’s what we help leaders with."
Emplify was the first company to spin-out from the Launch Fishers coworking space. From a handful of employees in the beginning, Emplify added 23 new hires in 2017. The new positions the company plans to bring on in 2018 include sales, marketing, customer success, product and operational support. Its customer count grew by more than 150 over the last 11 months and now includes Ivy Tech Community College, Harley Davidson, Crew Carwash and Cook Pharmica. The company’s most recent executive addition is central Indiana tech scene veteran Rachel Clark, who will serve as VP of Product and Engineering.
