The East Central Indiana Regional Partnership is rebranding as Forge ECI, a change intended to underscore its mission as the nine-county economic development organization celebrates its 20th year.
The effort, which also will include a new logo and website, further reflects the organization’s mission to drive both economic development and regional collaboration, according to a new release announcing the change.
“Forge ECI represents more than just a name change — it’s a statement about who we are and where we’re headed,” Board Chair Garrett Doan said in the release. “For 20 years, this organization has worked to connect communities, support economic opportunity, and promote the assets of East Central Indiana. As a board, we’re proud to support this new path and confident it will help us amplify the incredible work already happening across the region.”
To help mark the occasion, Forge ECI will host a 20th anniversary gala on July 29. The event will feature a conversation with Gov. Mike Braun and highlight regional achievements, as well as outline economic development priorities and the organization’s vision for the future.
ForgeECI provides business and worker resources to stakeholders within the counties of Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Grant, Henry, Jay, Randolph, Rush and Wayne. The newly launched website, ForgeECI.com, is a resource for site selectors, businesses, residents and visitors.
The rebranding effort was created in partnership with Hagerstown marketing firm IronGate Creative, the news release said.
“This rebrand is the result of years of steady growth and regional collaboration,” Caitlin Hancock, interim president/CEO of Forge ECI, said. “Forge ECI is bold, clear, and deeply rooted in the identity of East Central Indiana. It reflects not only who we are today, but who we’ve worked hard to become—and we’re excited to share that with our partners, investors, and communities.”
