Indianapolis-based CertaSite, a commercial fire protection and life safety company, has acquired Fire Loss Control, a full-service fire protection business in Ohio. While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, CertaSite says Fire Loss Control will continue to grow under the CertaSite brand, within its current customer base and in new markets.

Fire Loss Control, which was founded in 1971, is CertaSite’s seventh acquisition in Ohio. Earlier this year, CertaSite acquired Hamrick Fire Systems LLC in Columbus, Ohio.

“CertaSite is the perfect partner to build on the foundation laid by our employees and customers” said Fire Loss Control former owners George and Debbie Kobrak. “With CertaSite, we have a unique opportunity to blend our knowledge base with a technology-based platform that offers new product lines, is professional and rooted in best practices, and provides significant value for customers.”

CertaSite also made acquisitions in Iowa, Michigan and Kentucky earlier this year.

“We are grateful to George, Debbie, and the Fire Loss Control team for their continued partnership throughout this process,” said Jeff Wyatt, chief executive officer of CertaSite. “We are proud to be a part of what these folks have spent many years building. We look forward to building on the foundation they built by offering employees development and career advancement and expanded services and support to customers.”

With the addition of Fire Loss Control, CertaSite says it has acquired a total of 19 fire protection and life safety companies throughout the Midwest.

If the headline sounds ominous, that’s by design. This is not hyperbole. The United States is funding numerous Chinese companies—many with ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Chinese military. This is the very country which, by all accounts, is posing the most serious threat to our national security in our lifetime....
