Hoosier Health & Living in Brownstown, which provides independent living, short-term rehabilitation and other services for seniors, is under new ownership.
The facility, which was previously named Hoosier Christian Village, was acquired by Bloomington-based CarDon & Associates earlier this month.
Hoosier Health & Living also offers long-term care and memory support. CarDon says it will invest in facility improvements, update technology and incorporate connections with southern Indiana hospitals and insurance companies.
A spokesperson for the company told Inside INdiana Business it is not disclosing the purchase price, and all 120 employees will be retained.
“Hoosier Health & Living already has a long history of high-quality, compassionate service to seniors and their families,” CEO Kent Rodgers said in a news release. “We’re proud to welcome the Hoosier Christian Village staff into our team and excited to introduce resources that will enhance what this community already provides for residents, families and staff members.”
CarDon owns, operates or manages 20 communities across the state.
