Tara Twigg – Lead Producer
Tara Twigg is a television producer of Inside Indiana Business with Gerry Dick. She began her career at Grow INdiana Media Ventures in 2016.
Prior to joining IIB, she was the noon show producer for WISH-TV in Indianapolis. While at WISH she worked almost every shift, including overnight for years to get Daybreak or Weekend Daybreak ready for the early start! She also worked on the assignment desk, tuned-in live shots in news control and even did some tape-to-tape editing.
She was born and raised in Minnesota, but left the land of 10,000 Lakes to attend Butler University where she studied Radio & Television and did several internships. After graduating with a B.S. in Telecommunication Arts with a minor in German, she worked in Minneapolis at the All News Channel, before returning to Indiana to work at WISH-TV.
She lives with her husband and son in Avon.

1. Where can we find you when you’re not working? |
When I am not at work you will probably find me in the kitchen, cooking up a new recipe or baking a sweet treat. I also travel to Minnesota to spend time with family and friends. |

2. If you weren’t doing what you do today, what other job would you have? |
I would either like to own a small café/bakery or a food truck. |

3. Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car? Why? |
I would rather drive a car because I can travel to places faster, since I’m usually in a rush and I can’t slow down! |

4. What would you do if you won the lottery? |
If I won the lottery I would take a few years off to travel around the world, open a few restaurants. I would also make sure my family was taken care of and then give to charity. |

5. What three items would you take with you on a deserted island? |
I would take a smartphone so I can still call family & friends, read books online & search Pinterest. I would also need my photo albums and chocolate, because I can’t live without it! |
