Texas-based logistics provider TA Services has acquired Top Gun Freight Inc., a freight brokerage business in Carmel. As part of the deal, TA Services says the owner and president of Top Gun Freight, Thomas Hosack, will join TA Services as vice president of business development.

“It is an honor to join the TA Services team,” Hosack said. “The company’s 34+ years of experience in the industry and its comprehensive range of resources and services—including managed transportation, warehousing and distribution, and cross-border services in addition to brokerage—will provide exciting opportunities to offer a broader array of solutions, as well as a nationwide freight network, to previous Top Gun Freight customers.”

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
