Managed Health Services has named Corey Ewing chief operating officer. He previously served as chief executive officer of Alabama-based Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

Ewing has over 20 years of experience in healthcare, with over 15 of those in hospital administration. He started his career in nurse staffing and then spent several years in supply chain management. He also served as CEO of DeKalb Regional Medical Center in Fort Payne, Alabama. Ewing holds a master of business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from The University of Alabama.
