The Mapleton Fall Creek Development Corporation has named Elan Daniel chief Executive officer.  He previously served as an economic and community development consultant to clients in Indiana and Ohio, including the Indy Chamber, Purdue Research Partners and The Ohio State University. Prior to that, Daniel served as deputy director of community and economic development with the city of Indianapolis. 

Daniel will assume the CEO role on Jan. 13, 2020. He succeeds Leigh Riley Evans, who left the organization in November to take a position with Eastern Star Church.
