Our partners at WEHT-TV report the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corp. has approved plans for an ”energy efficiency upgrade” at Bosse Field in Evansville. The station says funding for the project would come from a tax levy recently added to property tax bills in Vanderburgh County.
Evansville Otters owner Bill Bussing told WEHT-TV the facility is in need of many improvements, starting with the electrical system.
Plans may also include a new scoreboard, new seating and repairs to a leaking roof.

The money from the tax can only be used on historic structures such as Bosse Field or the Old Courthouse.
