Manufacturing Conference Coming to Bankers Life

Subscribe NowWisconsin-based gener8tor is hosting its annual OnRamp Manufacturing Conference Thursday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. More than 200 startups will apply for one-on-one pitch meetings with 20 participating manufacturing corporations and venture capital firms, according to event officials.
The conference is expected to draw more than 500 total attendees to the city. The one-day event includes a Conference Track, featuring keynotes, panel discussions, fireside chats and product demos.
The event will also include what it calls a "Startup Track" with one-on-one pitch sessions. OnRamp will match selected startups with corporate venture capital and innovation executives from participating manufacturing corporations to discuss customer relationships, strategic partnerships and investment opportunities.
Representatives form Rockwell Automation, Navistar, Rite-Hite, Harley-Davidson, The Heritage Group, the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences and Sargento will attend the event.
