INDIANAPOLIS - Business executives, government officials and key stakeholders in the world of cyber tech will gather for a two-day conference in Indianapolis starting Wednesday. Cybertech Midwest 2019 will showcase some of the latest technologies used to battle cyber threats from around the globe.

Cyber technology touches almost every aspect of our everyday lives – including retail, health, government, research & development, insurance, infrastructure, and even sports.

Numerous chief technology and information officers from a wide range of sectors will speak at the conference on such topics as privacy and security from threats within the cyber arena.

When it was announced in May 2018 that Indianapolis would host the conference, Cybertech founder Amir Rapaport said “we see Indiana as the ideal location for our Cybertech event due to its vibrant cyber eco-system, with incredible involvement and passion from the state, industry, academia and local government when it comes to cybersecurity, protection and innovation."

Inside INdiana Business Host Gerry Dick will give opening remarks and host a “fireside chat” with Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger at the conference Wednesday.
