Krieg DeVault has named Attorney Tom Stafford partner. He started at the firm as an associate in 2011 and is a member of the firm’s employee benefits and executive compensation and employee stock ownership plans practice groups.

Stafford focuses his practice on employee stock ownership plans and works with companies, trustees, lenders and sellers on ESOP-related matters, including design and implementation, ongoing fiduciary and governance counseling and sales of ESOP companies. He is an active member of the ESOP community, currently serving on the Legislative & Regulatory Advisory Committee of The ESOP Association; and is a member of the Ohio Employee Ownership Council and National Center for Employee Ownership.

Stafford received his B.A. from Wabash College and J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and was recently named as a Rising Star by Indiana Super Lawyers.
