Honda Manufacturing of Indiana LLC in Greensburg has announced Isao Matsuzaki as the company’s new president. He succeeds Bob Nelson, who will become senior vice president and regional division manager of the North America E-Planning Division at Honda of America Manufacturing in Ohio.

Matsuzaki has been with Honda for more than 30 years, most recently serving in the production operation division at the Honda Motor Co. Ltd. Saitama Factory in Japan. He begins in his new role April 1.

Nelson joined HMIN as president in 2013. The company says, during Nelson’s tenure, the plan launched the new model Civic Sedan and CR-V, which is the first SUV built at the Princeton operation since it began production in 2008. Honda says those models are the automaker’s two best-selling vehicles.

Honda has also announced Tim Myers, who currently is plant manager at Honda’s East Liberty Auto Plant in Ohio, will become HMIN’s senior vice president.
