ZipRecruiter Likes Indy Tech Vibe Reston

The Indianapolis region’s burgeoning tech economy is getting more national attention. Indy is on ZipRecruiter's list of the Top 10 Up-and-Coming Cities for Tech Jobs in 2015. The online job board says it tracked metropolitan areas with positive job growth to find which cities are on the verge of a boom in the tech sector.

According to Author Kylie Anderson, "Indianapolis has emerged as an ideal city for young professionals looking for an affordable home and a strong work/life balance." ZipRecruiter suggests Indianapolis has 28,370 tech job openings, including senior java developers, infrastructure architects and net developers.

The most common attributes of cities on the list are a low cost of living and local colleges that provide resources and entry level workers, according to Anderson, who notes tech is helping to "bring the former Rust Belt back to the forefront of the nation’s economy."

This is the very country which, by all accounts, is posing the most serious threat to our national security in our lifetime....
