Zionsville-based RLTurner Corp. will lead a $2.4 million project to build grandstands at the Shelby County Fairgrounds. The county fair has been without the permanent seating since a 2012 fire. RLTurner plans to begin the project this month. The company hopes to complete construction by the end of June, which would be in time for the 2014 Shelby County Fair. A spokesman for the company says the timeline will be dependent on weather.

RLTurner says it has clients in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky and Michigan. The companies website says it focuses on the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, manufacturing, recreational and fitness markets.
