Warsaw-based Zimmer Holdings Inc. (NYSE: ZMH) has eliminated the position of president for Zimmer Reconstructive. In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the company attributes the decision to “certain organizational and personnel changes.” Jeffery McCaulley, who had been serving in the position, left the company last week. The company says terms of the separation are still being worked out.

Once finalized, the deal will be outlined in a future SEC filing.

Zimmer named McCaulley to the executive post in December 2008. Before that, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Health Division of Wolters Kluwer, which provider of scientific information and workflow solutions for the health care industry.
