YWCA Northeast Indiana has a new chief executive officer. Paula Hughes-Schuh (pictured), who most recently served as principal of consulting group Twelve One Strategy LLC, succeeds Debbie Beckman who is retiring.

Hughes-Schuh’s experience includes senior operations manager for the nonprofit investment team of Ambassador Enterprises, as a nonprofit consulting and corporate finance specialist for True North Strategic Advisors, director of development for Arts United in Fort Wayne and Downtown Improvement District president. She also served on the Allen County Council for eight years and was the Republican candidate for an unsuccessful mayoral run in 2011.
