The Indianapolis-based LIDS Foundation is detailing its grants for the first half of 2015. The organization says it awarded more than $270,000 in funding and in-kind support to more than 40 youth programs.

The LIDS Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Indianapolis-based LIDS Sports Group. The foundation says it selected the grant recipients from more than 170 submissions.

Late last year, the organization said it's "Tip The Hat Award" funding would grow. The program is offering a total of $300,000 this year.

Grant recipients from the first half of the year include:
