The Youth Opportunity Center in Muncie has hired Kimberly Burkholder as chief financial officer. She has 17 years of experience as a CPA for public accounting firms specializing in audits and financial statement preparation for nonprofit organizations and for-profit companies. Burkholder began her career at Katz, Sapper & Miller and spent the last 11 years at Estep*Doctor & Co. P.C. in Muncie. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. Burkholder serves on the finance committee for the United Way of Delaware County and as treasurer for the Board for Altrusa International of Muncie. She received her masters of accountancy from Manchester College.
