Muncie-based Youth Opportunity Center Chief Executive Officer Rick Rowray has been elected vice president of the Indiana Association of Resources and Child Advocacy board of directors. IARCA is a nonprofit organization representing approximately 90 member agencies in Indiana that provide services for children and families. These services include residential and foster care, transitional/independent living, home-based services, shelter care and crisis stabilization. It works to promote cooperation, communication, development and mutual support among these organizations. IARCA’s ultimate mission is to be a voice and advocate for these agencies. A board member since 2013, Rowray has served on the public policy committee and was chair of the finance committee. He joined the executive committee in 2015 as board treasurer.
