The YMCA of Kokomo has named its first-ever female chief executive officer. Kokomo native Trish Severns will be the first woman to serve in the position in the 140-year history of the Kokomo YMCA. She will oversee all operations, including membership, fundraising and strategic planning. Severns previously served as chief operating officer and youth and family program director. She holds a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Ball State.
