Adam Wren has joined The Indiana Citizen as a contributing editor. He has served as a contributing editor for POLITICO Magazine since 2018 and for Indianapolis Monthly since 2013. Wren’s work has appeared in The New York Times and The Washington Post. 

He studied political science, English and writing at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, and earned his master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School, where he was the recipient of the Harrington Award, the school’s highest academic honor awarded to one student in each discipline. Wren is a three-time finalist for national City and Regional Magazine Association awards, including Writer of the Year, Best Profile and Best Feature.
