WorkOne Northeast to Host Veterans Job Fair The coalition hopes to attract 100 employers.

Northeast Indiana Works and WorkOne Northeast are set to host a job fair for veterans. The third annual Veterans 1st Hiring Event will take place May 6 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne.

The event will feature more than 60 employers. Veterans, their spouses and employable dependents of veterans are eligible to attend the hiring event. The Northeast Indiana Human Resources Association will also be available to help with resume preparation.

"We will have a wonderfully diverse group of employers represented at the event this year," said Rick Farrant, director of communications for Northeast Indiana Works. "That should give veterans a wide selection to choose from when considering a post-military career."

The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
