The Northwest Indiana Workforce Board has announced its officers for the next year. They represent various businesses and organizations throughout the region, including Horizon Bank and the Center of Workforce Innovations.

The NWIWB says its members are responsible for facilitating connections to key resources in workforce and education, while working to determine the future skill needs among employers in the region, which covers Jasper, Lake, La Porte, Newton, Porter, Pulaski, and Starke counties.

The 2018-2019 officers include:

• Chair: Mary Lewis, Corporate Controller, Andover Management/In Good Co.
• Vice Chair: Debi Baughman, Director of Training, Horizon Bank
• Treasurer: Gary Olund, President and CEO, Northwest Indiana Community Action 
• Secretary: Frank Cardello, Chief Financial Officer, Packaging Logic Inc.
• Board & Staff Liaison: Linda Woloshansky, President and CEO, Center of Workforce Innovations
