Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, a special interest fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation, has appointed Kamala Spencer development director. She will coordinate successful and sustainable development, fundraising and donation campaigns that support the transformative work of Women’s Fund. Spencer previously served as a territory and district manager for General Motors Corp. and served as a sales manager at Automotive Distributors, where she focused on training, customer retention and market and profit growth strategy. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma—the International Honor Society for Business and Management Education.
