By Alex Brown
‘Women of Influence’ to Headline Greenwood Symposium (L to R) Katie Douglas and Billie Dragoo will be two of the featured speakers.

The Greater Greenwood Chamber will Wednesday host its Women Leaders Symposium. The event, which will feature two panel discussions on multi-generational connections and motivating followers, will include speakers such as former Indiana Fever player Katie Douglas and Indiana Conference for Women co-founder Billie Dragoo.

The event will take place at the Valle Vista Golf and Conference Center in Greenwood. The chamber says Jennifer Pope Baker, executive director of the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, will also be a featured speaker at the symposium.

"Women’s business issues are important to sustaining our state’s economic growth," said Christian Maslowski, chief executive officer of the Greater Greenwood Chamber. "(The) symposium is an opportunity for attendees to appreciate women’s uniqueness as leaders and learn practical career advancement tips from field-tested women leaders."
