Scott and Nyla Wolf, who own the Wolfie’s Grill & Italian House restaurant chain, have acquired the LakeHouse at Geist, which is located on Geist Reservoir. The couple has launched renovations that include a full kitchen remodel and new bar area. The new Wolfie’s location is expected to employ 50 during the offseason and 120 during its peak in the summer months.
The LakeHouse at Geist name was started a year ago after the previous owners bought the former Bella Vita restaurant. Bella Vita opened in 1998. The Geist property will be the fifth Wolfie’s location. The first opened on Morse Reservoir in 2014.
Scott Wolf says "I’ve worked in the restaurant industry nearly my entire life, so I’m excited to see Wolfie’s continue to expand around the city. When Nyla and I opened our first location on Morse Reservoir, we wanted Wolfie’s to be a restaurant that combined our love for nature, sports and good food. Thousands of chicken wings and nearly 15 years later, we’re excited to get back to our roots and put another Wolfie’s location on the water." Nyla Wolf says "from the beginning, it’s been important that each Wolfie’s location feel like home to all of our customers. It’s our intent to continue to highlight Geist as an amenity for our customers, so there will be ample parking for boats right on the lake and entertainment throughout the summer in the outdoor beer garden. There’s so much promise in this community. We’re just excited to get started."
Renovations will continue through the coming months. Current Wolfie’s locations are in Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville and Westfield.
