Warsaw-based WishBone Medical Inc. has hired Jodie Heggelund as global president of spine and biologics. He has more than 20 years of experience and most recently served as vice president of sales for the central United States and Pacific northwest at Montana-based Xtant Medical.

Heggelund’s career in orthopedics started with Medtronic Spine in 2000, followed by Nuvasive, Orthofix and LDR Spine (now Zimmer Biomet). He holds an MBA and a leadership development certification through Texas Tech’s Executive MBA program in addition to a BBA in finance from Texas State University.
