Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke has released details of a plan to reconstruct one of the city's busiest intersections. The cloverleaf interchange project, which would connect U.S. 41 and the Lloyd Expressway. The bidding process is expected to begin in January. Winnecke says construction could be complete by August 2015.

The proposal has been in planning stages for more than two years.

It includes replacement of two bridges over U.S. 41. Winnecke says it will also have landscaping such as dozens of native trees, shrubs and green space.
