Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke has appointed Brian Holtz executive director of the Evansville Department of Parks and Recreation. He will be responsible for overseeing improvements and maintenance at more than 60 public park properties and working with Mayor Winnecke on developing Roberts Park. Holtz was previously deputy director of the department. For 12-years, he was the executive director of community corrections for the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office.
