Economic Development Corp. Michigan City says LEFCO CPS Inc. has invested $450,000 to move to the Woodruff Business Park with plans to add a small number of jobs over the next two years.
In June, LEFCO purchased the 6,000 square-foot building and new equipment to boost operations. The company says the location allows for future growth of up to three times its existing facility.
Bob Schultz, president of LEFCO, says the access to the fiber-optic network currently being installed in the business park is one of the main reasons for the move. He describes the business park as "a very nice area that has everything we need."
LEFCO was founded in 1996.
