White Lodging Makes Leadership Changes

Merrillville-based White Lodging Services Corp. has announced several changes to its senior leadership team. Chief Financial Officer Ken Barrett has been promoted to chief executive officer, while current CEO Dave Sibley will succeed Keith Daub as chief operating officer upon Daub’s retirement at the end of the year.
Sibley will serve as COO of White Lodging’s full-service portfolio, effective immediately, according to the company. Bruce White, chairman and founder of White Lodging, says the reorganization comes as the company approaches the busiest time in its history.
"We will open at least 17 new hotels in the next 18 months. Our rigorous plans require extraordinary discipline and flawless execution," said White. "In accordance with our core value of leadership excellence, we have reorganized based on the skills and experience of our senior leadership team. This is an alignment of strengths. White Lodging will benefit from Ken’s strategic leadership as well as his perspective on ownership engagement. I am confident in his ability to lead us forward."
The company says it will open new properties in Indiana, Wisconsin, Texas, Tennessee and Colorado next year.
