Merrillville-based hotel management company White Lodging has named Jean-Luc Barone chief executive officer, succeeding Ken Barrett who will continue to serve as president of the company.
Barone most recently served as chief operating officer, after having joined White Lodging in 2016 as vice president of food and beverage.
With Barone’s promotion, current senior vice president of operations David Lanterman will become COO.
“Jean-Luc and David have been catalysts for positive change and have quickly elevated the company’s urban and lifestyle hotel offerings and locally relevant restaurants,” said White Lodging founder and Chairman, Bruce White. “Both leaders also have a reputation for creating an environment that allows each associate to be their best self, and grow through training, development and mentorship – something associates all across the industry need more than ever.”
White Lodging operates 90 hotels, 40 restaurants and 30 hospitality brands.
