The chamber of commerce for Carmel and Fishers has selected Jack Russell as chief operating officer. Russell, who currently serves as president of the Westfield Chamber of Commerce, will begin his new role with OneZone May 14.

As COO, Russell will be responsible for the marketing, communications and operational aspects of OneZone. He will also oversee member acquisition and retention, member services and events.

"We’re looking forward to Jack’s joining us at an exciting time for OneZone," said Mo Merhoff, president of OneZone. "We are in the first year of a broad, aspirational strategic plan and welcome his being part of the team."

Russell joined the Westfield chamber in March 2016 as director of business development and was named president the following May. He previously served as operations and business development manager for Continental Inc. in Anderson.
