West Side Chamber to Host Job Fair

The West Side Chamber of Commerce in Indianapolis is hosting a job fair next month featuring more than 65 employers. The event, which will be held at the Pike Performing Arts Center, will be free for job seekers.
The chamber says the event will include seminars about interviewing skills, resume writing and job seeking. Will Lance, project manager and chamber board member, said the event aims to improve the quality of life for people in the community and help make west side businesses more successful.
"We will have numerous jobs from management to call centers, package handling, installation to sales," said Lance. "This gives job seekers many opportunities to find a new job, a new career and maybe a new life."
The job fair will be held Wednesday, June 15 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Job seekers are encouraged to bring an up-to-date resume and dress in business casual or professional business attire.
