The West Side Chamber of Commerce will Wednesday host its third annual Job Fair-aganza in Indianapolis. The chamber says the event aims to connect 1,000 job seekers with more than 70 employers.
The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Pike Freshman Center on the northwest side of Indy. Project Manager Will Lance says job seekers are encouraged to arrive with an updated resume and dressed in business casual or professional business attire.
"We will have numerous jobs from management to call centers, package handling, landscaping to installation and sales," said Lance. "The Job Fair-aganza gives job seekers many opportunities to find a new job, a new career and maybe a new life."
Some of the companies attending the Job Fair-aganza include FedEx, CIRTA Commuter Connect, Durham School Services, Indianapolis Airport, Hilton and Morales Group.
