West Fork Whiskey Heading Downtown

Indianapolis-based West Fork Whiskey Co. has announced plans to move operations from the city’s northwest side to downtown. Co-owner Blake Jones says the company is expected to open a new distillery and tasting room in September.
Jones tells Inside INdiana Business both the company and landlord will invest nearly $150,000 to rehab the building, which is located in the Kennedy King neighborhood in Indy. The building will include a distillery where all of West Fork’s whiskeys will be produced, as well as a bar, lounge, dining room and retail space.
Construction on the new facility began in March and West Fork says it will eventually close its current facility at 86th Street and Zionsville Road. Jones says plans are also in place to hire up to five part-time employees by the end of the year.
