Wayne Schmidt, Wesley Seminary leader, has been elected as general superintendent of the North American General Conference of The Wesleyan Church for the next four years. He has served as vice president for Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University since 2009. Dr. Schmidt previously worked with the Kentwood Community Church in Michigan.
