Wellness Council of Indiana Receives Anthem Grant

A subsidiary of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, The Wellness Council of Indiana, has received a $125,000 Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation grant. The award is in recognition of the Indiana Workforce Recovery initiative and its work to end substance abuse in the workplace.
The grant funding will be used to promote awareness, prevention, treatment and recovery.
“The support of partners like Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation is what allows us to deliver groundbreaking education free-of-charge to employers across the state. We applaud them for their continued dedication to the health of Indiana’s workplaces,” said Wellness Council of Indiana Executive Director Jennifer Pferrer.
