Pittsburgh-based Branding Brand has announced it has acquired Indianapolis-based Waysay. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, however the company says it will open an office in Indianapolis as a result.
Branding Brand builds web, app and in-store shopping experiences for more than 200 brands. The company says the acquisition of Waysay, which is the first acquisition in the company’s history, will build on its offerings to include in-app messaging and customer engagement tools, among others.
"We are proud and excited to have Waysay join the fold," said Chris Mason, chief executive officer of Branding Brand. "As shoppers look for more personalized experiences with their favorite brands, Waysay’s technology brings new capabilities to our platform for enabling meaningful one-to-one engagement and increasing customer loyalty."
