Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, however the company says it will open an office in Indianapolis as a result.
Branding Brand builds web, app and in-store shopping experiences for more than 200 brands. The company says the acquisition of Waysay, which is the first acquisition in the company’s history, will build on its offerings to include in-app messaging and customer engagement tools, among others.

"As shoppers look for more personalized experiences with their favorite brands, Waysay’s technology brings new capabilities to our platform for enabling meaningful one-to-one engagement and increasing customer loyalty."
Waysay was founded by former ExactTarget and Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) veterans Matt Compton and Bob Ullery last year. Branding Brand says the Waysay team will join its product team.
Branding Brand says it has further expansion plans which include opening an office in London later this year. The company also has offices in Pittsburgh and New York.
