Silveus Insurance Group Inc. said it plans to expand its Warsaw campus and create up to 46 new jobs by the end of 2022. The company currently employs 56 people.
The Silveus Insurance Group is a closely held crop insurance agency that has acquired sites and buildings surrounding its headquarters in Warsaw, including an office building previously owned by the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber said it will retain space at the same site.
“For more than 75 years, Silveus Insurance Group has focused on customer service and constant innovation to serve our clients’ unique needs,” said Silveus Insurance Group Board Chair Craig Snow. “After considering a number of options in the area, we are excited to continue to grow our business, our culture and our team at our Warsaw campus.”
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered Silveus up to $520,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $80,000 in conditional training grants based on the company’s job creation plans.
“We’re grateful for Silveus Insurance Group’s decision to continue scaling its operations in Indiana and delivering critical services to Hoosier farmers, and we’re excited to support the company’s growth and success in Kosciusko County for years to come,” said Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger.
