IndyGo is looking for volunteers to help launch the Red Line when it opens September 1. The transit system wants to have a team of people in place at each station to assist and educate riders who use the new rapid transit system for the first time.
IndyGo wants volunteers to staff the stations during that the first week – September 1 through September 7. Volunteers will receive training and support materials to help them effectively assist riders.
The Red Line will connect passengers between Broad Ripple and the University of Indianapolis. The buses will run from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. IndyGo says during peak service hours the busses will travel the route every 10 minutes.
