Walker Breaks Ground on $11M HQ

Indianapolis-based Walker Information has broken ground on its new headquarters. The customer intelligence consulting firm is joining with real estate developer PK Partners to invest $11 million into the facility on the city’s north side and plans to complete the move by the end of 2017.
The 54,000 square-foot building will be located in the Keystone at the Crossing area in Indy. Walker says the expansion is more than just moving into a new headquarters; it is also expanding its range of services and consulting capabilities.
"We’re excited to be part of the development in this section of the city," said Steve Walker, chief executive officer of Walker Information. "Our new location and impressive facility will attract and retain the high-caliber talent needed to fuel continued growth for our business."
The ground breaking ceremony Wednesday included Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett, Indianapolis City-County Councilor Christina Scales and Chris Cotterill, executive vice president of the Indiana Economic Development Corp. Walker Information was founded by Steve Walker’s grandmother in 1939.
