(NYSE: WNC) is reporting a full-year net loss of $97.4 million in 2020, compared to net income of $89.6 million the previous year. The manufacturer says despite the drop, new technologies and a focus on building adjacent revenue streams will provide additional opportunities for growth in the future.
The company is also reporting fourth quarter net income of $5.5 million, down from $18.3 million during the same period in 2019.
“Conditions strengthened throughout 2020 in many of our customers’ end markets and equipment demand is poised to improve in 2021,” said President Brent Yeagy. “While we are focused in the near-term on executing on this cyclical upturn, we also continue to work on strategic initiatives to profitably grow the company in the long-term.”
