Lafayette-based Wabash National Corp. has promoted Brent Yeagy to president and chief operating officer. His promotion comes the same week the company announced a manufacturing and sales agreement with a global honeycomb materials company. The deal with EconCore N.V. gives Wabash National exclusive North American production and distribution rights to materials from the Belgium-based business. Chief Executive Officer Dick Giromini will relinquish his role as president October 1. He has been with the company since 2003 and risen through the ranks to currently serve as senior vice president – group president of the Commercial Trailer Products Group. His career also includes roles in the United States Navy, Delco Remy International and Rexnord Corp. He has degrees from Anderson University, Purdue University and the University of Michigan. Giromini will remain CEO and a member of the board after Yeagy’s promotion.
