Wabash National Announces New President, Partnership

Brent Yeagy’s promotion comes the same week the company announced a manufacturing and sales agreement with a global honeycomb materials company.
The deal with EconCore N.V. gives Wabash National exclusive North American production and distribution rights to materials from the Belgium-based business. The materials are used in containment and transportation industry applications.
Chief Executive Officer Dick Giromini, who will relinquish his role as president October 1, says "our strategy to diversify and grow the business over these past several years has been highly successful, enabling us to deliver record performance each of the past four years." He adds Yeagy’s appointment "puts into place an enhanced leadership structure that will more effectively support our expanded and more diverse group of businesses."
Yeagy will also join the company’s board of directors. He has been with the company since 2003 and risen through the ranks to currently serve as senior vice president – group president of the Commercial Trailer Products Group. His career also includes roles in the United States Navy, Delco Remy International and Rexnord Corp. he has degrees from Anderson University, Purdue University and the University of Michigan.
Giromini will remain CEO and a member of the board after Yeagy’s promotion.
